We are a local art school and gallery that use artistic creations to encourage self expression, confidence, and healing in the youth and in adults.

The tiers of service we offer are teaching the arts, exhibiting local art, and creating positive impact using art to both English and Spanish speaking communities.

These services include semi-private art sessions, workshops, group painting events, crafts, and mixed media; Giving local artists a home for their expressions.

Beyond the Brush is a studio that is devoted to developing and improving the talent and skill of artists of all ages!

Founder / Art Instructor
Born in Paradisiacal, Costa Rica, Kristina is a motivated community citizen who has served in many capacities helping others. Throughout her career, Kristina has embraced various platforms for artistic expression, participating in exhibitions and collaborative projects that amplify her message of unity and hope. By intertwining her artistic endeavors with her community service, she has successfully created spaces where art becomes a catalyst for dialogue and healing. Her commitment to social causes resonates deeply within her work, making her not just an artist but also an advocate for change. “Each original art piece is a bridge by which I can liberate my soul and spirit from the vast emotions transmitted through me by life. My paintings are a spontaneous response to that inner voice, always striving to capture the essence of humanity, nature and matter of faith”.

Rose joins our studio overflowing with eagerness and imagination! Recently graduated with an Associate Degree in Fine Arts and Graphic Design and former education from the Center for Creative Arts, Rose is excited to impart her artistic abilities. Rose's dynamic energy and gift for the arts promises to be an uplifting contribution to our team! Her passion will surely inspire our students as we embark on this artistic journey together!

Looking for a unique and memorable way to celebrate? Our studio offers custom painting events perfect for birthdays, weddings, church gatherings, team parties, girls’ nights, and more!

What We Provide:

• All painting materials and supplies

• Step-by-step instruction for any theme you choose

• Fun, creative atmosphere for all ages and skill levels

What You Can Bring:

• Your own food, snacks, and drinks

• Decorations, cake, and gifts

• Your friends, family, and good vibes!

How It Works:

You pick the painting theme—something you love, something meaningful, or something fun!

We guide your group through a 1.5 – 2.5 hour session, then you’re free to enjoy your celebration in the studio. Contact us for prices!

Individual Instruction:

We teach all levels, all medias, from ages 7 and up!

We like to work with each student concentrating first on growing their natural talent and strengths and as we advance, we also work on their areas of opportunity where they may not be as developed. This approach keeps the individual engaged, interested and what’s most important, growing!

We typically let our students choose the subject matter of the projects we work on. We like to expose our students to different ways to express themselves, for instance, paint, drawing, sculpting, etc. With each person is a completely different journey. A beautiful one!

Class settings may include up to 4 students per session.

COST: We sell the individual classes as a package of 4, one-hour sessions. The price for children is $130. The price for adults is $150. This is to be paid upfront. The fee includes both instruction and the materials we use at the studio (This does not include oil painting and mix medias, these will require an additional fee).
